Keller Williams Realty achieves largest agent based Real Estate Franchise in the US

Keller Williams Realty Simi Valley(Dallas TX) February 17, 2013. Announced at the State of the Company Address Sunday morning to a crowd of more than 10,000 Agents in attendance in the Dallas Convention Center, CEO Mark Willis revealed that the company had finally surpassed Coldwell Banker in agent count to become the largest franchise in the nation. It is no surprise as Willis rolled out impressive stats for 2012 prior to the announcement including, 91% of all Keller Williams franchises were profitable. Additionally profit share company wide was up 44% over 2011. Gross commission closed, total units and total volume were all up more than 20% each for 2012 over 2011.

Remarkably, the company has grown and exceeded industry wide averages every year during the depressed markets. Franchises opened in South Africa, Turkey and Germany. For a company that has no national advertising campaigns like competitors RE/MAX, Century 21 and Coldwell Banker; many might wonder how Keller Williams achieved its current position over the last 30 years.

Keller Williams Realty has poised itself as the leading real estate technology and training firm in the industry second to none. The agents are all stakeholders in their offices through profit share which is protected by open books and agent leadership councils which make the decisions on how the office is run. Additionally strict guidelines and systems for each market center is monitored monthly by corporate Headquarters in Austin Texas, to protect the integrity of profit share.

Culture is another major component of the success of Keller Williams Realty. KW Cares is a charitable arm of the company supported by 100% voluntary agent contributions. The money generated by KW Cares is awarded by grant to agents of the company who may fall on hard times through illness and other personal reasons. A more recent example is that KW Cares raised over $5 million for Hurricane Katrina and agents were quick to step into action to help fellow Keller Williams agents affected by hurricane Sandy.

Founder and leader Gary Keller leads by example, company headquarters in Austin Texas is debt-free and shares profit with its employees. Keller Williams Realty was awarded both buyer and seller satisfaction awards from JD Powers and Associates. The culture and leadership of Keller Williams Realty is infectious and will prove to be a key component in the on going growth and success of the company in the future.

Client Testimonials

Ted actually helped us find a new home AND sell two homes. He was beyond helpful with everything. When looking for a home, Ted didn't waste our time…My husband and I are really busy so this meant a lot to us….he always had plenty of houses lined up for us to look at and he acted as our personal chauffeur. He really knows Simi, so he knew exactly where to take us….and ultimately he found us our beautiful new home. Selling the other two was a breeze…Ted took care of everything. No complaints here!
